Ali MacGraw

Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. After working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to acting and modeling. MacGraw was noticed in two of her films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular newcomer. MacGraw quickly became famous following the success of her 1970 film Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. Within just three short films MacGraw became the most popular female box-office star in the entire world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were engraved in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
